21st century learning has made a huge impact on education with regards to the improvement in technology enabled classrooms. There are many benefits to including technology in the classroom, such as it enhances student engagement, collaboration, and on-going learning at home. It is also non-threatening for it allows for those shyer students to demonstrate their knowledge and thinking in a way that can be privately assessed by the teacher. In addition, technology allows teachers to reach different learning styles in the classroom and assess students through different means which are responsive to the individual needs and strengths of each learner. Below are a few digital tools in which I love to use in the classroom.
SocrativeThis app allows opportunity for teachers to engage and assess the students' understanding of a subject. Teachers can create quizzes, exit/entrance tickets, questions polls, and game races in which provides instant feedback on students' results.
PadletGreat collaboration tool in which teachers can use to generate discussion, share ideas, picture, or videos. Have your students share what they have learned about a topic or post interesting facts at the same time!

EducreationsTeachers can share mini tutorials on different topics, record his/her thinking or have students track their own learning through use of sound, image, and text.
